introduction of reach project
Within one year, public health alumni from prestigious institutions, such as Johns Hopkins and Harvard, aim to provide online and offline medical research training courses for health professionals (doctors, nurses, residents, public health practitioners, students, and so forth) who take care of the well-being of Vietnamese people. The project is expected to reach over 1000 individuals with internet access via online courses, 150 attendees via 3 offline workshops in Hanoi, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh city. 3 selected groups of young healthcare leaders will also receive mentorship and a small grant for their health-improvement projects to promote evidence-based practice in medicine and public health beyond REACH.
REACH project is sponsored by the U.S. Embassy Hanoi, Vietnam and U.S. Department of State through the VEF Alumni Grant program in 2018-2019.
